The Belgrade Beer Festival: Music, Enjoyment, and a Summer Feeling
Every August, Belgrade transforms into a paradise for beer lovers and music fans: since 2003, the Belgrade Beer Festival (Beogradski festival piva) has been attracting visitors from all over the world with an unbeatable combination of first-class beers and a thrilling music program. Five days of partying, dancing, and enjoying the atmosphere – an event that has long since achieved cult status.
The festival has firmly established itself on the international event map in recent years. In 2005, it was ranked as one of the top twenty global events by the British newspaper “The Independent,” and in 2009, it received the “Marketing Event of the Year” award from Taboo magazine. Since 2022, the festival has officially been one of Belgrade’s most important events and is part of the broader “Belgrade Summer” program.

Originally held in the historic Kalemegdan Fortress, the festival moved to its current venue, Ušće, in 2008. Numerous top international acts such as Simple Minds, Stereo MC’s, Rudimental, Tommy Emmanuel, and Kosheen have already performed on the stages. Local and regional artists also thrill audiences with a wide range of musical styles – from rock and pop to hip-hop and electronic music.
The Belgrade Beer Festival is more than just a music festival – it’s an experience that combines beer culture and musical diversity in a unique atmosphere. Anyone traveling to Belgrade in the summer shouldn’t miss this highlight!
